Context
As the Front-end Lead and UI/UX Engineer, I led the frontend development of the Finance Web App while collaborating with backend developers, a UI/UX designer, the project manager, and company owners. The product was being built as an internal solution with the long term vision of launching it as a subscription based SaaS platform for businesses.

Overview
The goal was to create a scalable and user friendly accounting platform that simplified everyday financial management. The application focused on making tasks such as invoice creation, transaction tracking, report generation, and user management more efficient through a clean and intuitive user experience.
Challenge
Accounting applications often involve complex workflows and large amounts of financial data. The challenge was to design an interface that reduced complexity while maintaining flexibility, security, and responsiveness. The frontend also needed to integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and support future product growth through reusable, maintainable components.
Solution
As the Front-end Lead, I designed and developed responsive user interfaces using Vue and BootstrapVue, creating reusable components that improved consistency and accelerated development. I worked closely with backend developers to integrate APIs, implemented secure role based access controls, and designed user flows that simplified invoice management, reporting, and financial operations. Before moving to a new role, I also provided a structured handover and mentored the incoming Front-end Developer to ensure continuity of the project.
