Bricks and Agent is one of Australia's leading property management platforms, helping real estate agencies streamline communication, maintenance requests, inspections, invoicing, and day to day property management through a modern cloud based solution.
Context
I joined the Bricks and Agent product team as a UI/UX Engineer and later progressed to Senior UI/UX Engineer. Working closely with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders, I contributed to multiple products across the platform, delivering new features, improving user experiences, resolving production issues, and helping evolve the design system used across the application.

Overview
The goal was to modernise several core products within the Bricks and Agent ecosystem by improving usability, introducing new functionality, creating responsive interfaces, and maintaining a consistent design language across the platform. My work spanned product redesigns, feature development, production support, and continuous UI improvements.
Challenge
The platform consisted of multiple interconnected applications that served different users, including property managers, tenants, service providers, and administrators. Maintaining a consistent user experience while introducing new functionality and supporting existing production systems required close collaboration across teams, careful attention to detail, and scalable frontend development practices.
Solution
I designed and developed responsive, reusable user interfaces using Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and SASS while collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to accurately implement product designs. I contributed to major UI/UX revamps for the Property Manager App and Invoice Automate App, implemented new features, resolved production issues across several applications, and helped improve workflows through peer code reviews and cross functional collaboration. As a Senior UI/UX Engineer, I also mentored junior team members and participated in the interview process to help grow the design and development team.
